Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur International Airport has 2 terminals. KLIA1 and KLIA2 are about 2 kilometers apart and connected by a train and shuttle buses.

KLIA1 has an Aerotrain that started running on July 1st 2025, that connects its satellite terminal to its main terminal.

KLIA1, the main terminal, is used for most international flights for traditional airlines such as Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, etc.

The baggage claim hall at KLIA1 is bright and spacious, with clear signs and multiple carousels for arriving passengers. Travelers collect their luggage here before heading through customs and into the arrival hall.

Exits and Greeting
Once you’ve collected your bags, follow the signs toward customs.
After clearing customs, you’ll see two main exits ahead, and your driver is waiting for you there with a meeting sign.

After meeting your driver in the arrivals hall, you’ll be escorted to your vehicle.
