Our customer booked a private car service for a Chengdu Evening Food Tour.
The journey began at 4:30 PM from CLOUDS 13 Forest Hot Spring Resort, a boutique retreat hidden among centuries-old nanmu trees near Qingcheng Mountain in Dujiangyan, Sichuan.
Built around a beautifully preserved traditional West Sichuan residence, the resort blends historic architecture with modern luxury and comfort. Guests can enjoy private hot spring baths, forest views, an infinity pool, a cliffside bar, and peaceful walking trails surrounded by nature. With only 13 uniquely designed rooms, the resort offers a tranquil escape where visitors can relax and experience the beauty of the mountains.
The distance from the resort to the food tour meeting point is approximately 76 kilometers, and the drive takes about 90 minutes.
At 6:00 PM, our vehicle arrived at Yushuang Road Metro Station, Exit C, where the food tour participants met their guide. Our driver stayed to ensure that the customer successfully connected with the tour group.
The tour uses tuk-tuks as its primary mode of transportation. These three-wheeled vehicles allow participants to travel efficiently through Chengdu’s busy downtown streets while enjoying a unique local experience.
Unlike Thailand, where tuk-tuks are a common form of public transportation, tuk-tuks are relatively uncommon in major Chinese cities. This makes the Chengdu Tuk-Tuk Food Tour a unique way for visitors to explore the city and sample local cuisine.
The food tour began at 6:30 PM and finished at approximately 10:00 PM. Since our driver has provided transportation for this tour before, he waited near the tour’s ending point instead of the starting point. This arrangement allowed the customer to return directly to the resort without having to travel back to the original meeting location.
After the tour ended at He’s Barbecue in the Taikoo Li area, our driver picked up the customer and drove them back to CLOUDS 13 Forest Hot Spring Resort near Qingcheng Mountain.
